RAAus is proud to welcome Jennifer Hunt as the newest member of our Youth Ambassador Program, a young aviator whose passion, determination, and deep-rooted connection to flight make her an inspiration for aspiring pilots across the country.
Jennifer’s love for aviation runs through her veins. As part of a family with three generations of pilots, she grew up surrounded by aircraft, airfields, and stories of adventure in the skies. That early exposure set her on a remarkable path — earning her RAAus Pilot Certificate at just 15, alongside both her A and B Gliding Licences. These early achievements were only the beginning of what has become an extraordinary aviation journey.

Jennifer’s story is more than a tale of personal achievement; it’s a beacon of inspiration for the next generation of aviators. As an RAAus Youth Ambassador, she embodies the values that define our community — freedom, opportunity, and the pure joy of flight. Her journey reminds us that with passion and perseverance, even the most ambitious dreams can take flight.
Please join us in congratulating Jennifer Hunt on her appointment as an RAAus Youth Ambassador. With her talent, enthusiasm, and commitment to aviation, she’s set to inspire young Australians to reach for the skies — and we can’t wait to see where her journey leads next.

Her spark of inspiration came while taking part in the centenary celebration of the first circumnavigation of Australia by seaplane. Although her family’s route covered only part of the journey — from Adelaide along the west coast to Darwin — the experience left a lasting impression. Months later, while driving home one evening, Jennifer had a thought that would change everything: “Wouldn’t it be funny if I flew around Australia solo?” What began as a passing idea soon became a bold mission — to become the youngest female to solo circumnavigate Australia.
On 7 September 2025, Jennifer took off from MKT Airstrip with her loyal four-legged co-pup, Bella, by her side. Over the following month, they captured hearts and headlines as they soared across Australia’s breathtaking landscapes, embodying the spirit of adventure that defines aviation. Along the way, RAAus CEO Maxine Milera caught up with Jennifer and Bella in Moruya to hear first-hand about their challenges, triumphs, and the joy of seeing Australia from the cockpit.
By 30 September 2025, Jennifer had completed her epic solo journey — a full circumnavigation of Australia that tested her skill, courage, and endurance. From take-off to touch-down, it was an unforgettable adventure that reflected her unwavering dedication and love for flying. After weeks in the air, both Jennifer and Bella more than earned a well-deserved rest!
