Room Hire

Recreational Aviation Australia (RAAus) has been located in the Centre Court complex in Fyshwick since 2004. Our offices are newly renovated and we have two meeting rooms available for hire offering modern, private spaces.

We are conveniently located just a 7 minute drive from Canberra Airport and 12 minutes from Canberra city centre.

We offer two room hire options with bookings available Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Parking

Ample free parking is available, including both street and rooftop options. To make things easy, we’ll provide a map highlighting all nearby free parking areas so you can plan your arrival with confidence.

Toilets

Toilets are reserved exclusively for Centre Court tenants and guests. Facilities include male and female toilets, as well as a separate wheelchair-accessible toilet.

Local Food and Catering

For a casual bite to eat and the best toasted sandwiches in town, the Melted Toasted Sandwich Emporium (2/3 Pirie Street) is a one minute walk away.

Celestino Cafe Bar Torrefazione (28 Pirie Street) is walking distance a little further along Pirie Street and offers an excellent dine-in menu.

Catering options in Fyshwick include the fantastic Three Mills Bakery (pre-order and pick up from your choice of two cafes located at 75 Newcastle Street and 5 Leeton Street).

Coyote Catering has an extensive breakfast, morning and afternoon tea, and lunch menu that can be delivered straight to our door.

There are many food options available in Fyshwick to be found on Google, and guests are also welcome to self-cater.

Use of the kitchen area is free of charge with our room bookings . It has tea and coffee making facilities, two microwaves, full-size refrigerator, and crockery and cutlery. Please note: the kitchen is a shared space with RAAus staff and cannot be booked exclusively.
